These are a few of my favorite things…
I have so many ministries near and dear to my heart that I want to share with others. If you are looking for a great place to serve, support, or just pray for, here are some great options – near and far!
My church – Grace Community Church of the Nazarene in Spring Hill, KS – we are currently fundraising for a building project – specifically because we have outgrown our space for kids and youth! I’m very proud of our church family and the leadership and vision here; and would love if you want to give to this beautiful place of family & ministry!
Nazarene Compassionate Ministries – you can give to support specific causes (natural disaster relief, refugees, etc.) or you can even adopt a child for $30/month. Our family supports a couple of kids that we get to write to and watch grow up!
This past summer (July/August 2023), McKenzie and I got to go serve in Quito, Ecuador with a team from our church. We got to partner with dear friends and missionaries Angel & Krista Sigui AND we got to do some construction at a beautiful and growing church site. Monte Sinai definitely has a special place in our hearts, BUT they need more funds to finish their building! Consider giving here!
Also, Angel & Krista are raising their own funds too, so support them here!
In May/June 2024, we are heading to Rwanda with our church! We have an on-going ministry relationship in Gisenyi Rwanda where Simon and Caritas Pierre lead an amazing work, including a medical clinic (soon to be an official hospital). They have an opportunity to receive a $450,000 donation of medical supplies from Project C.U.R.E., but they need to pay for shipping. The cost is $35,000 for a 40’ container. Want to help? Here’s the link!
Some other wonderful ministry leaders and friends, Josh and Shannon Herndon, are serving at Native American Christian Academy in Sun Valley, Arizona; and the work they are doing is so inspiring. Please donate or schedule a visit to help!
My Father’s House in Paola, KS is doing amazing work for the rural homeless population by provding shelter and counseling for folks to get back on their feet! And they have a new big dream to add affordable small housing too!
One of my volunteer roles is serving as the Nazarene Missions International President for both my local church and for the Kansas City District – and in that role, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people serving God across the globe. Please consider partnering with any of these amazing missionaries!
The Realtor Relief Foundation is another thing important to me as a Realtor because it assists home owners who have been impacted by natural disasters. So often our home is our biggest investment and it can be devestating when disaster strikes.
I owe so much of who I am today and how Eli and I practice ministry and hospitality to the HUGE role ACTS Campus Ministry played in my life as a college student and young adult in St. Louis. I pray that every college student has a group and leaders in their life like I found at ACTS! |
